Father Tom is now recording his sermons, and we're posting them to our Sermon Library. We expect to continue recording all sermons given at Ascension Cathedral, so the Sermon Library will be the place to download or listen to those. We are also posting transcripts of these sermons, for those who prefer to read them. These will be posted within a day or so of the sermon audio files. GOYA Kickoff 2010! Game Night!
Come join us for a fun night of Games and Fellowship as we begin our new year of Youth Ministries and GOYA! The theme for this year is Family, Faith & Fun! Our first kick-off event is Sunday, September 12th at 1:00 pm until around 2:30 pm! We will be organizing several games, including a huge DODGEBALL game of EVERYONE vs. FR. Altar Boy Outing – September 2010!
All Altar Boys! If you are interested in going out together as a group, we hope you will join us for an Oakland A's game against the Boston Red Sox! Friday, September 10th (the game time is 7:05 pm). We will hopefully all be sitting in the same section, or reserving a whole row, depending on how many participants we get. San Jose Adult Volleyball Tournament 2010
The Tournament will take place October 15th - 17th at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in San Jose, CA (contrary to the details in the flyer above). If you are interested in forming a team from Oakland please contact Fr. Nebojsa Pantic. Also, if you are interested in all driving down together please RSVP with Fr.
