Young Professionals of the Bay Area is an Orthodox Christian young adult fellowship group organized by Fr Pete Sotiras of The Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross in Belmont, California. Contact Fr Pete to receive the email announcements of events, or check our full calendar here at the Ascension Cathedral website, as we’ll be including their events there from now on.
Summer 2014 outings include a gathering in Napa Valley (on which see here), and a trip to Monterey (on July 10th, details forthcoming).
Our next Young Professionals Meeting will be on Saturday, August 21st. Join us at Holy Cross, Belmont for Great Vespers at 5:30pm, followed by dinner (pizza) at 6:15pm, and then Volleyball! If you plan on coming and haven’t e-mailed me already, e-mail me by Wednesday, August 18th. Make sure you bring gym shoes (basically tennis shoes should work—nothing that could leave black marks on the court). Also, if you happen to have a volleyball, feel free to bring it (and let me know if you do.) If you’re not good at volleyball, it doesn’t matter. The objective here is fellowship and fun, so don’t be scared!
If you could, please bring $10 per person to cover dinner costs. Also, if you have any dietary restrictions, let me know that as well.
Looking forward another evening of faith, fellowship and fun,
