The Young Adult League spent the day volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, a national organization that provides houses for families without homes. On Saturday, November 16 Ascension Young Adults headed to the Bayview District of San Francisco for a day of pounding nails, shoveling dirt, and building walls. Volunteers who participated in the service oriented event found that through laughter, prayer and collaboration they were able to achieve great things! Parish YAL members are looking forward to another volunteer workday with Habitat for Humanity in the Spring. We want to thank those who spent the day with us and encourage others to join us for these events and others.
